Ryu ga Gotoku KIWAMI

Game Details

Yakuza Kiwami retains the original's deeply human ensemble drama elements, but is developed for the PlayStation®4 to deliver exquisite visuals, smooth gameplay, and new game systems and battle styles that have been well-received in previous series titles, all while striving for the ultimate player experience.

In addition, 90% of the characters, including protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, rival Akira Nishikiyama, and heroine Haruka, have been re-recorded. In addition to the vivid and lifelike performances by the luxurious regular voice cast, the newly added voice actors will make the in-game cutscenes even more realistic and convincing.

Furthermore, various new story chapters have been added, focusing on why Akira Nishikiyama's personality changed so drastically during the "blank decade" when protagonist Kazuma Kiryu was imprisoned. The cutscenes have also been significantly expanded. In this title, you can enjoy a grand human ensemble drama that continues the story development of the prequel, Yakuza 0: The Place of Oath.

Of course, entertainment venues essential to the red-light district, such as karaoke and mahjong parlors, are also present in the game. Characters with unique personalities will also appear. Various sub-stories, sometimes amusing and sometimes tear-jerking, have also been greatly revamped and added.

Whether you're a player who hasn't touched the series since the PlayStation®2 version, a player who started with the PlayStation®3, or even a player who has never tried Yakuza before, this title is a "Kiwami" ultimate entertainment work that the development team can confidently recommend to all mature adults.
