"Danganronpa" is a popular detective game where players must refute contradictory statements in a class trial to uncover the culprit behind a murder. The testimonies and evidence collected during investigations are loaded as "bullets" into a magazine during fast-paced class trials, allowing players to shoot down and refute opponents' contradictory statements in an action-game style. The game features "Ultimate" students, each a top-tier talent in their respective fields, whose unique personalities are one of the series' greatest charms.

This title, "Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls," is a spin-off set outside of the school life depicted in "Danganronpa." It introduces an original genre, "bullet action game," a first for the series. Players can enjoy a new gameplay experience while savoring the series' unique character charm and storyline.

Story

This game reveals the aftermath of the killing game school life. Set in the "outside world" after "Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc," two girls struggle to survive in a city enveloped in despair. What has become of the outside world? What happened to the survivors...?

Komaru Naegi is just an ordinary girl. For a year and a half after "The Worst, Most Despair-inducing Incident in Human History," she was forced to live a life of confinement, separated from her family. She had already given up hope and accepted her imprisonment... but then she encountered an even more despairing situation. It wasn't a hero or a savior who ended her long confinement... but Monokuma. Komaru Naegi barely escaped the relentless onslaught of Monokuma and finally arrived in the "outside world" after a year, but the sight before her shocked her. It was a "world of despair" where children controlled Monokuma to relentlessly hunt adults. To survive, she could only rely on a "megaphone-shaped Hacking Gun" given to her by "someone," and... a girl named Touko Fukawa, whom she coincidentally met.

Game Features

Two heroines team up to overcome challenges!

The protagonists of this game are Komaru Naegi, an ordinary girl with an Ultimate older brother, and Touko Fukawa, the Ultimate Literary Girl.

They meet in Towa City, which is engulfed in despair, and work together to overcome various difficulties.

Komaru Naegi uses a megaphone-shaped Hacking Gun, while Touko can transform into Genocide Jack to fight Monokumas!

Komaru Naegi's weapon, the "megaphone-shaped Hacking Gun," is a special weapon that can fire 8 types of "Truth Bullets," such as "Break" and "Move."

It can not only attack Monokumas but also activate various facilities to open escape routes!!

A horde of black and white bear-shaped robots called "Monokumas" suddenly appeared in Towa City and began attacking adults. This game will feature various types of Monokumas!!
