SF Express has announced that, effective immediately, the declared value for mail sent from Hong Kong to Mainland China has been relaxed. The total declared value per shipment has been increased to RMB 2,000 (please do not underreport the value of items). The applicable import duties for Mainland China will be based on the latest regulations issued by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.
For items that are singular and indivisible, the declared value may exceed RMB 2,000, up to a maximum of RMB 5,000. Shipments exceeding RMB 5,000 will require formal customs declaration for importation into Mainland China.
